These images represent the aftermath of moments in my studio, that focus on to-go dining. I often eat alone with plastic wear and to-go cups. They represent the food order from the restaurant across the street before or after a hectic shoot for a client, the coffee from
the corner deli or subway stop after retouching a million images and your brain just wants to consume itself, the bag with the happy face that can't ever stop saying "Thank You" and reminds you, it will greet you again tomorrow. The images become a document of me but
more so the environment in which I consume and throw away material. They are not lush, lavish meals in any sense but represent the way myself and many New Yorkers consume on a daily basis.
